Opportunities Include:
Full Time (36 hours per week, 3 x12 hour shifts, 1 weekday shift and every Saturday and Sunday)
Part time (24 hours, 2x12 hour shifts, every Saturday and Sunday.)
Casual/PRN
Evening shift (10am to 10:30p) or Overnight (10p to 10:30a) positions open
The CT Tech reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
Responsibilities:
Positions and immobilizes patient on examining table.
Administers contrast media oral and/or IV contrast in accordance with department policies and procedures, patient history indicators, exam protocols and physician orders and follows through with post exam instructions.
Enters data such as type of scan, slice thickness, scan time and other technical data into computer.
Communicates with patient before and during procedure; monitors safety, comfort.
Views images of organs or tissue on video display screen to ensure quality of pictures; produces radiographs.
Performs CT equipment QA and maintains required logs.
Performs clerical tasks such as receiving orders, scheduling patients, and recordkeeping.
Maintains and cleans work area and equipment; replenishes supplies as needed.

Qualifications
Required:
ARRT
IEMA Division of Nuclear Safety
BLS through American Heart Association
2 to 3 years of undergraduate education or equivalent
Preferred:
ARRT registry in CT or MRI
