Network Planning Product Manager

with Mobile network deployment experience, to define and lead our network deployment strategy worldwide. Reporting to the Head of the Aircraft Communications Portfolio, the Network Planning Product Manager is overall responsible for the following key activities: Develop and execute a network deployment strategic plan, Form and advocate a product vision, based on experience, customers needs, internal feedback, business rationales, technical constraints, and budget, Develop and maintain relationship with suppliers and partners, Ensure network solutions and services are aligned with Sitas business goals and objectives.

You will strongly interact with the various functions within SITA such as Network design Engineering teams, Network infrastructure teams, Commercial teams, Customer operations and customer support teams, and other colleagues across the company, located in 20+ countries (Canada, United-States, France, Switzerland, Germany, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, Spain) WHAT YOULL DO Plan and develop a deployment strategy for the Telecom Network and define the best set up for the stations so to optimize the network performance, and capacity. Analyze the current network capacity and growth projections and align with the business commitments so to propose improvements. Drive the prioritization of the deployment based on backlog, deployment strategy, budget. Define and track KPI reporting pre and post deployment. Define, drive and monitor yearly and long-term budget. Support roadmap and customer projects and enforce technical standards for quality, maintainability, scalability, availability, and security of the network infrastructure, ensuring deployment plan is aligned with the industry and customer needs, and in line with SITAs commitments. Specify Business requirements so to support functional and/or technical design of a solution and serve as a liaison with subject matter experts. Drive, monitor and maintain suppliers and partners relationship and contracts. Support the investigation on Regulation, Licensing, Certification, Partnering needs in different countries. Support sales, technical, and customer facing teams including for pre-sales activities, Project Management, developing technical and business presentations. Maintain and share expert working knowledge of current state network technologies, services, and research emerging technology trends. Qualifications: ABOUT YOUR SKILLS A relevant University degree/technical certification, and/or relevant experience commensurate to the role, 5+ years experience in Telecom network technology, 2+ years of product management / Business management experience, Expert knowledge in major network technologies, current and trends, Development and maintenance of business cases, market opportunity assessment, Partner and Supplier Relationship Management, Excellent organizational, time planning and prioritization management skills, Presentation and reporting capabilities, Fluent oral and written English, French is a plus. NICE-TO-HAVE Knowledge of network protocols and hardware, RF/VHF communications & technologies is an asset, Experience in Air Transport is a plus.
