Job Description

The Product Mangager (PM) is responsible for product strategy (positioning, long term target), product portfolio management (PLCM, spec & performance, P&L, coverage, PIM), implementation of product benchmark with competitors (cross references), definition of the sourcing (Supplier, TCO), business model (Stocking, Shipping, Warranty). The produce manager also steer the project management (interface with internal and external business partners). The PM performs the product phase in and phase out, supports the GtM with product information, product training and technical support. Based on market/ customer and competitor obervations the PM derives the product strategy. He/ She is reponsible for achieving a competive market coverage, TOP vehicle coverage and time to market product launches. Core functions are the product release (13 digit), product cancellation, support selection of suppliers, pre-steering and target costing of procurement prices, definition of price points and lower price limits for sales. Lead BU product related growth projects on the APAC Region. Definition of part numbers per range and brand. Qualifications

Professional Economic or Engineering academic education Job experience (3-5 years) within automotive Very good English language skills Above average data analysis and presentation skills (sales pitch) Digital experience Methodical Understand the ERP systems Strong knowledge which function the products fulfil in the vehicle, how they differentiate and their features and benefits on both the commercial and the technical side and present them to the relevant recipients. Take ownership of market requirements and trends Comprehensive Knowledge of the 5P's and their leverages in the market Comprehensive Knowledge about product costing/pricing and other product related commercial/financial processes Skilled in competitor product analysis and consumer behaviour analysis Personality Has to be respected as counterpart by the regional director/country sales director/key accounts/regional marketing functions Flexibility and creativity; Be determined and energetic. Entrepreneurial thinking; strong personal initiative; Engage in improving our business processes by contributing ideas. Persuasive power and assertiveness Team player; Think partnerships.
