Senior Accountant

We are looking for an energetic and skilled Senior Accountant. Responsible for performing the day-to-day activities of the Finance & Accounting function in the Oklahoma Region, and working with other regional teams across Esler Companies. Assisting with the financial close and reporting process, including all transactional and accounting activity. This individual will also be responsible for calculating the sales commissions for the Oklahoma Region.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING - THE ROLE
Manages and performs day to day accounting functions for Oklahoma region, including accounts payable, accounts receivable (including collections), cash reporting, and certain aspects of payroll (commissions, profit sharing).
Calculating the commissions weekly and reviewing the jobs in the recast process.
Prepares financial reports and coordinates month and year-end close processes.
Assists in preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
Works closely with Controller and finance team to maintain consistent practices across finance, and continuously strives for process improvement
Supports General Manager, salesforce, and operational teams to deliver world class customer service.
Leading the AR function for the Oklahoma office and working closing with the Operations and Sales teams to get deposits and final payments processed.
Support other ad hoc projects and requests as necessary
WHAT YOU BRING - THE PERSON
Experience with QuickBooks, or other financial software

Excellent communication and phone skills

Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in Accounting/Finance
Generally requires 3-5 years related private experience; 2-4 years public experience
