Job Description: Our Nurses work in collaborative environments with strong interdisciplinary teams, focused on a patient-centered care model. The registered nurse utilizes evidence-based practices to develop a plan of care meeting the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of the patient and family.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of a school of nursing
- Experience: One (1) year experience and/or completion of The Nurse Residency Program
- License and Certification: Current unrestricted License as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Education: BSN or MSN
- Experience: Two (2) or more years in this clinical area
- License and Certification: Certification in clinical area
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Basic knowledge of Nursing principles and practices
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, be flexible and a team player
- Commitment to customer service
- Basic computer knowledge
