RN Nursing Manager

Join our team at Ascension Via Christi, a leading non-profit, faith-based national health system, as a Nursing Unit Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the activities, workflow, and nursing resources of assigned nursing units.

• Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned nursing units, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
• Conduct hiring, training, directing, development, and evaluating of staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care services for assigned units.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to guarantee efficient and effective delivery of health services.
• Monitor and adhere to budget, approving or monitoring expenditures, purchases, and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.

• BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
• Required professional licensure/certification and 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
