The Pediatric Emergency Clinical Nurse Coordinator role at Medical City Dallas offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues. The position involves delivering high quality, patient-centered care, coordinating all functions in the unit, and serving as a resource for staff to ensure an unparalleled patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
- Assist with admission and discharge processes.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
- Assist with staff scheduling.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- BSN required.
- Current Texas RN license or RN compact license.
- Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association.
- Certification in specialty required within 1 year.
- Two (2) years of clinical practice in the clinical specialty of his/her unit and leadership/ management experience is preferred.
