To be a successful Nurse Practitioner at ReGenesis Health Care, you must be able to deliver primary pediatric care to a wide variety of patients, including well-child visits, sick visits, and management of chronic conditions, and be able to work within a care team of physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals.
Excellent salary up to $105,000 based on experience with excellent full-time benefits.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • You will represent the health center in the community while providing care during vaccine clinics, sports physical clinics, corporate health care events and community health screenings.
  • You will diagnose and treat acute health problems, treat and manage chronic diseases.
  • You will order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies.
  • You will prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary for pediatric examinations.
  • You will interpret and make appropriate decisions based on pertinent laboratory and clinical findings.
  • You will promote positive health behaviors through education and counseling.
  • You will complete timely documentation in the EMR for each patient encounter and review patient medical records for accuracy, and completeness as outlined in policy.
  • You will prescribe treatment plans for management/care for patients and families according to protocols and refer appropriately.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Program.
  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse by the State Board of Nursing for South Carolina.
  • Recognized as a Nurse Practitioner by the State Board of Nursing for South Carolina
  • Certification as a pediatric nurse practitioner.
  • Experience in a Federally Qualified Health Care facility is preferred.
  • Must maintain a current certification in Basic Life Support techniques.
