Position Summary:

The Inventory Control Lead is responsible for maintaining and increasing company profitability by preserving the accuracy of inventory levels. The lead coordinates daily activities by raising the team's highest quality of work and maximizing the department's productivity. The lead complies with all safety, food safety, Quality, GMP, and USDA requirements. Supporting all initiatives to promote a positive working environment, ensuring all warehouse personnel adhere to our safety guidelines, and keeping work areas clean.

Responsibilities:

Lead inventory control operations, such as cycle counting, data entry, inventory flow, and workload of employees, with the direction of the inventory control supervisor. Responsible for physically managing the inventory inside the warehouse and performing system entries to maintain inventory and bin accuracy. Utilize a warehouse management system within the ERP system to maintain appropriate work documents. Assist in fulfilling purchase and work orders in a timely, organized manner for our co-manufacturers. Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders. If the order is not specified, investigate proper delivery to the location. Research and resolve all key issues, adjustments, and discrepancies. Assign work schedules, train associates in processes, and monitor associates' progress. Operate stock pickers to lift, move, pick, and stock inventory. Perform routine cycle counting of floor and stockroom inventories. Lead company safety initiatives and ensure a company culture of safety. Other duties as delegated. Qualifications & Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience in cycle counting with scan guns and forklifts. Knowledge and experience in D365 is preferred. Ability to perform basic math calculations. Ability to work well with others and under pressure. Effective verbal and written skills, Computer literacy and Inventory Control, Production and/or Warehousing systems. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
