Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 6 years of Restoration Experience
  • IICRC WTR Certification
  • IICRC FSRT Certification
  • Ability to lead a crew of 5 or more people
  • Proficient in using technology
  • Willingness/ability to work some weekends and night hours as needed
  • Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects on a regular basis
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to work in confined spaces
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with 4 years of driving history - Must have a clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications:
  • DOT or CDL license
  • IICRC Certifications (CDS, ASD, MRS, etc.)
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-site assessments to evaluate the extent of water, fire, or mold damage and develop appropriate restoration plans.
  • Supervise and lead a team of mitigation technicians to ensure efficient and high-quality completion of water, fire, and mold mitigation projects.
  • Train and mentor mitigation technicians to enhance their skills and capabilities, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Advise Project Managers on all aspects of mitigation projects, including assessment, planning, execution, and documentation, ensuring adherence to industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Monitor project progress, quality of work, and compliance with safety protocols and industry standards.
  • Maintain inventory of equipment, materials, and supplies, and ensure proper maintenance and utilization to support project requirements
  • Efficiently and skillfully execute work orders
  • Provide photo documentation of work performed
  • Assemble and disassemble equipment, document and report equipment outputs
  • Execute water damage restoration: Extraction, drying, demolition and contents manipulation
  • Execute mold remediation: Treatment, demolition, equipment set-up, and containment
  • Execute fire/smoke remediation: Structural cleaning, content manipulation, demolition
  • Safely operate company vehicles to and from jobsites
  • Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service losses (this includes after-hours, weekends and holidays)
  • Provide exceptional customer service and work as a team

The General Labor (Technician ) position is a career in field services in the property damage restoration industry. The position is primarily responsible for responding to emergency and property damaging situations. Our labor force is accountable for addressing the property and the customer with skill, knowledge, and professionalism. The position is accountable for preserving as much of the property as possible while working safely and efficiently on the job site.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities
  • Work safely in residential and commercial properties that have been damaged by fire, water, storm, and/or mold
  • Survey damage within the property
    • Evaluate and record damage to all items within the property
  • Perform cleaning process for both contents and structural damage, as needed
  • Removal of contents for cleaning or destruction. Pack outs and pack backs
  • Demolition of structural damage to properties through the use of hand and power tools
  • Clean up assigned job sites after demolition
  • Perform initial site visits
  • Conduct moisture inspections
  • Set restoration equipment within guidelines
  • Complete notes of assigned jobs in our primary operating system (RMS)
  • Take photos of jobs assigned at start, completion, and throughout the process
  • Responsible for maintaining assigned vehicles and equipment
  • Responsible for unloading and reloading assigned vehicles with equipment
  • Keep equipment clean and organized in the shop
  • Responsible for unloading trash in assigned areas
  • Responsible for recording your time and coding it to the job assigned
  • Pass IICRC certifications as IICRC classes are offered
  • Assist in the development of new hires through on the job training
  • Hold our companys Vision, Values, Mission and 10 Serving Basics throughout job position
  • All other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience


  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Customer Service experience
  • 1 plus year experience in a craft, trade, or manual labor position or equivalent schooling
  • Valid Driver's License with 4 years of driving history
Preferred Education and Experience


  • IICRC Certifed
  • One or more years experience within the restoration industry
