Essential Responsibilities - Quality Inspector \- QA Inspector

• Document data/information accurately on travelers and other controlled documentation
• Inspect manufactured and procured products for quality and adherence to customer specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, specifications or sample part
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow all safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions to supervisor
• Clean production equipment
• Operate a fork truck

Qualifications - Quality Inspector - QA Inspector

• Use of hand tools such as wrenches, gauges, screwdrivers, drills, etc.
• Experience using Micrometers, Calipers, and other precision measuring equipment
• Understand metals, quality, machinability, and uses of metals, alloys and other materials
• Strong computer skills
• Safety awareness and compliance
• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability and willingness to work extra hours when needed
• Understanding of RMAs and NCRs
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years’ experience performing quality inspections
• Previous forklift certification

Physical Requirements \- Quality Inspector - QA Inspector

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate and type. The employee is frequently required to stand, sit, and kneel. The employee is required to walk and reach and carry components with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision.
