Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) - Full Time

  • Under the direction of a physician, administers various sleep studies in order to diagnose the type and extent of sleep disorders.
  • Performs routine patient assessments, scores sleep records, documents other test results, and collects and transmits biological specimens for analysis.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of tasks.
  • Works under general supervision.
  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
  • Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent and certification as a polysomnographic technician.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
