Job Description
Are you a skilled Registered Nurse passionate about providing high-quality care in diverse and dynamic settings? We are seeking experienced nurses to join our team in West Virginia. If you're ready to embark on a rewarding international healthcare journey, this position is for you.
Key Details:
  • Nurses will be added to a pipeline of candidates and contacted as needed.
  • Must be able to work all three shifts-Morning, evening, and midnight.
  • This is a temporary position; duration depends on the facility's needs.
  • Local Nurses recommended travel expenses are not covered.
  • Willing to work at one or more of the six locations below.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist medical providers with medical procedures and treatments as allowed within the licensed scope of work.
  • Assessment and documentation of the patient's vital signs, chief complaint, medical history, and prescribed medications.
  • Establish observable and documentable patient goals using care plans within NANDA.
  • Report all changes in the patient's condition to the medical provider.
  • Proactively and independently administer primary care, including but not limited to inserting catheters with blood specimen collection, urine collection, EKGs, visual acuity, primary wound care, changing bandages, or administering intravenous medications.
  • Assist patients with primary care and activities of daily living, as needed.
  • Provide support and education to help patients make responsible health decisions.
  • Maintain supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipate needed supplies.
  • Restock clinical and provider areas once supplies are received.
  • Cross-train to work within clinics, emergency rooms, and inpatient units.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation schedule as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Requirements:
  • Experience in a clinic setting (urgent care, emergency room, etc.).
  • Current and unrestricted license from the state of WV.
  • Must have 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience.
  • An associate or bachelor's degree is required from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • American Heart Association - Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification is preferred.
  • Physical Demands: Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods. It may require bending, stooping, and lifting up to 15 lbs.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English to communicate effectively.
  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card is required.

Compensation / Min: $45/hr Max: $50hr
The pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant's background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
