Each month an extra payment of $167 (up to $10,000) from Avera will help pay down your principal balance faster.</li> <li><b>Positive Work Environment:</b> Be part of an organization where we practice the mission in our daily operations and demonstrate our pride by delivering excellent care.</li> <li><b>Career Growth: </b>You have the opportunity to go beyond licensure and employment requirements and become nationally certified.</li> </ul> <p><b>Job Summary</b></p> <ul> <li>Has responsibility for coordinating clinical aspects of the transplant patient care. </li> <li>Maintains 24-hour accountability for the coordination of deceased organ offers.  </li> <li>Facilitates quality patient care for transplant patients, donors and their families. </li> <li>Participates as a member of an interdisciplinary transplant team. </li> <li>The Coordinator works with patients and their families beginning with evaluation and continuing through post-transplant phases, in a compassionate and professional manner in order to achieve excellence and continuity in-patient care throughout the phases of transplantation</li> </ul> <p><b>Education and/or Experience</b></p> <ul> <li>Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable. </li> <li>Minimum of two to four year’s medical/surgical nursing experience or nephrology experience preferred.</li> </ul> <p><b>Licensure/Certification/Registration</b></p> <ul> <li>Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of Multi-state licensure required.  </li> <li>Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota may be required depending on patient/job assignment.</li> </ul> <p><b>Work Schedule</b></p> <ul> <li>Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm, no weekends or holidays; 80 hours every 2 weeks</li> </ul> <p><b>Pay</b></p> <p>The hourly range for this position is listed below.
