Data Center Cluster Security Account Manager Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt – Contingent upon award Work Location: St. Joseph County, IN Shift: 40 Hours, M-F Patriot Group International Inc. Patriot Group International Inc. (PGI) has a current full-time opening for a Cluster Security Account Manager based in the St. Joseph County area. This position reports to the Vice President of Security Services (VP). The CSAM serves as the PGI Manager for a group of high priority sites, assisting the VP as a direct, onsite, representative to a major domestic security customer, with responsibilities for regional account management, and direct responsibility for regional personnel management, budget, contract compliance, service delivery and quality management. The Cluster Security Account Manager (CSAM) will be responsible for the following: The CSAM will serve as the direct PGI representative to one or more facilities at the direction of the VP. Provide first-line supervision of Data Center Security Managers / Shift Leaders and operations support for personnel and human resources staff. Directly responsible for contract compliance with all elements of customer statements of work, service level agreements, and quality assurance for the cluster. Responsible for developing, maintaining, and reporting individual program budgets, including minimizing unplanned overtime. Responsible for providing strategic direction and direct guidance to operations, site managers and their subordinates to manage activities and issue resolution, including physical security, safety, and business continuity events. Responsible for creating or improving the operational systems, processes, and policies in support of the customer mission. Assist the operations staff with screening, hiring, development, and retention of security personnel, front-line supervisors, and site managers. The CSAM will ensure 100% staffing coverage and responsibility alignment for the assigned site, team and shift. The CSAM will oversee and direct cluster crisis management functions including command and control of incident response post-orders, law enforcement and emergency services coordination, customer communication, after-action review and debriefing. Enforce PGI policies and standards of conduct. Other duties as required or delegated by the VP. Required Qualifications: Commitment to the mission, PGI core values and ethos. At least 10 years of security, military, or law enforcement management experience including a strong knowledge of personnel management, budgeting, and compliance. A minimum of 5 years of experience managing shifts of security personnel including screening, hiring, training, scheduling, and reporting activities. A minimum of 5 years’ experience developing local, state or federal level security policies and procedures. Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness, operations management and implementing best practices. Excellent computer skills and proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access. Excellent communication skills. Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff groups, projects, or initiatives. Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style. A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace. Excels at operating in a fast paced and ever-changing environment. Excellent people manager, open to direction and commitment to get the job done. Must be available by phone or email after hours and on weekends. Must be able to travel domestically to customer or PGI locations as needed up to 10%5% travel). Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and periodic random drug screening as well as a background check. Bachelor’s degree in a related field or relevant work experience. U.S. Citizenship Preferred Qualifications At least one year of experience managing the physical and technical security aspects of large data centers or similar sensitive facilities. Two years of experience managing high volume (100+ security or military professionals) employee development and training initiatives in a high pressure and high visibility environment. Significant experience diplomatically managing both upward and downward within a defined chain of command with internal and external customers or stakeholders. Two years of experience in national level incident response protocols. Master’s degree in a related field. Physical Requirements: This position requires lifting, standing, walking, sitting, bending throughout the workday; with some workdays being up to 12 hours.
