Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse - Walk-In Clinic

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN, LVN) for our Bolivar Walk-In Clinic!
Our clinic is designed to get you the quality care you need quickly. If you have a minor injury or illness, just walk in to our clinic, no appointment necessary. Our qualified medical staff treats patients ages 3 months and older.
The clinic is staffed by a physician, licensed nurse practitioners and physician assistants, and offers X-ray and laboratory services on site. The CMH Walk-In Clinic is open daily from 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.
A typical day will include: assisting patients to exam room, practicing nursing skills under a provider, coordinating patient care, managing quality controls, maintaining inventory, files and completing forms appropriately, triage. Receives and handles patients' medical related telephone calls, relaying information to patients/ others as directed by provider, documenting in the medical record information relayed. Supports front office when needed, and floats to other clinics or positions as needed, assists in lab and x-ray duties, following scribe duties. Immunization schedule management Assures previous medical information relating to visit is present at time of appointment. Understands and complies with policies and procedures including confidentiality, amendment of medical records, release of information, medical records as legal evidence, informed consent, etc., appropriate to the age of the patient served
The position is full-time; 8:30am-8:00pm
