Registered Nurse - Full time or Per Diem

All's Well Healthcare is currently looking for several RN's to work at a 200 bed psychiatric hospital. Must be able to start ASAP and work NOC shifts 7 pm to 7am.

As a Psych nurse the duties are as follows:

1. Performs job duties as specified by supervisor and functional job description.

2. Performs all required nursing assessments and documentation.

3. Intervenes in crisis situations and advocates for patients.

4. Demonstrates knowledge of patient group competencies.

5. Assists with assigning and coordinating work activities and clinical supervision of nursing personnel.

6. Provides direction, teaching and supervision of unit staff, and serves as preceptor to new employees.

7. Demonstrates ability to address personnel problems, clinical or administrative difficulties.

8. Participates with treatment team in developing patient treatment plans.

9. Administers medications when necessary and documents effectiveness.

10. Performs medication passes at least once per quarter.

11. Assists with transcribing medication orders and updating MARs.

12. Demonstrates competence and compliance in the delivery of patient care.

13. Maintains appropriate professional boundaries with patients and staff.

14. Provides patient education.

Requirements:

Must have clear and active, Arkansas license.
Looking for at least 1 year of RN experience. (prefer some psych)
BLS required
May be required to work overtime, weekends, holidays.
