Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT) is a leading supplier of building envelope solutions that effectively drive energy efficiency and sustainability in commercial and residential applications. We are looking for a Regional EH&S Manager to join our team. <br> <br>Job Summary: <br> <br>This position will coordinate, plan, and manage the implementation of environmental programs to prevent injuries or health impairment and to prevent and resolve environmental problems. Standard working hours are Monday- Friday 8 am to 5 pm with occasional overtime and weekend hours. Up to 50% travel to assigned plants. <br> <br>Duties and Responsibilities: <br> <br>* Regular strategic communication with EH&S Manager and Business Unit Operations Director <br>* Assist the Business Unit Operations Director in strategic planning across the Division which includes data analysis and problem solving. <br>* Acts as a coach and mentor to Business Unit Operations site leaders regarding safety tools, concepts, and mindset. <br>* Assist the Business Unit Operations Director in facilitation of Divisional safety calls. <br>* Work side by side with Business Unit Operations Site Safety Champions implementing and maintaining site-specific integrated safety plans, EHS standard work and other Carlisle safety programs. <br>* Conduct comprehensive policy audits throughout all assigned business unit plant and other Carlisle facilities. <br>* Manage/execute targeted environmental, health and safety projects throughout assigned business unit and CCM. <br>* Attend required Divisional and CCM management team meetings and safety committees. <br>* Prepare, implement, and execute safety training, on-boarding and mentoring. <br>* Serve as primary advisor regarding all safety issues for Business Unit Operations leadership teams, supervisors, local safety committees and hourly associates. <br>* Maintain close contact with government and members of the local safety communities. <br>* Maintain company compliance with all appropriate OSHA and state safety regulations and maintain appropriate reporting and accountability systems. <br>* Participate in industry and professional interest groups to stay current on trends, issues and technological innovation. <br>* Track OSHA recordable incidents, rates and trends; and regularly report safety performance measures to leadership. <br>* Lead, track and review all Business Unit EHS incidents for complete root causes, trends, corrective action completion and Divisional read-across applicability. <br>* Participate in the strategic planning of manufacturing process and facility modifications to ensure that potential environmental and safety related consequences are considered. <br>* Travel required up to 50% to assist the Business Unit Facilities in meeting EHS expectations. <br> <br>Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: <br> <br>* Ability to forge the right relationships with associates, regulatory officials, and corporate executives to communicate the company's safety and environmental health policies and accomplishments. <br>* Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. <br>* Ability to build consensus and positively influence a diverse group of co-workers without direct control. <br>* Basic environmental compliance is preferred but not required, must have willingness to expand current knowledge to include other topics. <br>* Must have demeanor such that facilities view role as help to their safety system. <br>* Fluency in Microsoft Office programs. <br>* Valid Driver's license and the ability to travel up to 50% overnight. <br> <br>Other duties as assigned<br> <br>#LI-MW1<br> <br>Education and Experience: <br> <br>* Bachelor's degree in safety management or related field and / or relevant equivalent education <br>* EHS related certification by a professional EHS association preferred (CSP, CIH...) <br>* Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a health and safety role, manufacturing or processing preferred - multi site EHS management experience is preferred. <br> <br>Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled<img src="https://counter.adcourier.com/YmJnZW5lcmljLjk2MDE3LjEyNTI0QGNhcmxpc2xlY2l0Y29tcC5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20.gif">
