District: Genesee Intermediate School District - website The Human Resources Assistant I provides support to the Human Resources department as assigned. Manages the process of criminal background checks for Genesee Intermediate School District and the constituent school districts. Responsible for the operational activities of the GISD Davis Center reception area while maintaining the integrity of confidential personnel information.

AVAILABLE

: One (1) full-time position available; 37.5 hours per week; 52 weeks per year.

SALARY

: $19.05 - 27.67 per hour. Non-Union, At-Will Position.

BENEFITS: Health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance after one full day of employment. Employees shall be subject to the co-payment of health care costs in accordance with state law.

QUALIFICATIONS

:

Education: Bachelor's degree required. Coursework in human resources desirable.

Experience: Minimum three years successful business office experience required. Experience in an educational agency desirable. Experience in human resources desirable.

Applicants for Human Resources Assistant I position are considered for interview only after successful completion of testing for typing at 45 wpm and a minimum of 80% in spelling and math skills.
