Radiologic Technologist

Summary : AFC Urgent Care is looking for part and full time X-Ray/Radiologic Technologist to staff our brand new, state of the art urgent care centers in Beverly, Swampscott, North Andover & Methuen, MA. Our ideal candidate has all the qualifications listed below, but that's only part of it.

Responsibilities and Duties
Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
Perform all diagnostic x-rays
Welcome patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
Assist in patient care to ensure speedy patient flow and to optimize patients' satisfaction, provider time, and exam room utilization
Inventory supplies, replenish supplies when received
Assist in maintaining equipment
Ensure cleanliness of patient waiting area and front office area
Qualifications and Skills
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited program for Radiographers.
ARRT Certification.
Current Massachusetts licensure or permit to practice medical imagining.
Current Certification in Basic Life Support.
Phlebotomy is a plus.
Minimum of 3 months experience post-graduation working as a licensed X-Ray Technologist preferred but not required
Understanding of the concepts of universal precautions, HIPAA and OSHA
