We are currently seeking for a <strong>Quality Engineer </strong>in our Armada facility, If you are looking to enhance your career with a dynamic, growing company, then we encourage you to apply and join the JSS team.<br><br><strong>Position Summary:</strong><br><br>Ensure that a company's products and processes meet established quality standards by identifying shortfalls, developing corrective measures, and implementing quality control systems.<br><br><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong><br><br>The duties and responsibilities outlined in the job description are to be used as a guideline and are not meant to be all-inclusive of the essential functions of the position. Other duties may be assigned, as necessary.<br><ul><li>Applies quality core tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes within each department during product development.</li><li>Perform Quality Engineering of design documentation for compliance with the internal requirements and Customer specific requirements.</li><li>Applies statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate the current process and process changes.</li><li>Communicate significant issues or findings identified during quality assurance activities such as line audits ,ME2 ,MPRC and supplier visits.</li><li>Participate in activities to solve problems identified during Product development and Mass production.</li><li>Prepare and Presents technical and Analytical information to team and management.</li><li>Prepare Reports to communicate to customer according to customer specific requirements and JSS internal procedures.</li><li>Maintain electronic investigation files up to date including 8D,5W and any other documentation related.</li><li>Gathers data and perform problem solving to control and improve the quality of production processes.</li></ul><br><strong>Qualifications:</strong><br><br>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.<br><ul><li>Demonstrated use of problem solving tools (8D, 5-Why, Design of Experiments) </li><li>Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation skills.</li><li>Ability to effectively interface with internal and external contacts at all levels.</li><li>Excellent program management and quality technical skills.</li><li>Ability to work in a team environment across all functions with strong team building skills.</li><li>Strong bias for action - goal oriented.</li><li>Willing to travel as required.</li><li>PC computer and software skills.</li><li>FMEA, APQP requirements, reliability / statistical methods, problem solving skills</li></ul><br><strong>Education and Experience:</strong><br><ul><li>Bachelor Degree in quality, industrial, or mechanical engineering. </li><li>2+ year of experience</li></ul><br>We are an Affirmative Action/EEO employer.
