Lanzen, Inc., a leader in defense industry manufacturing, is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our defense-related products through comprehensive inspection and testing processes for both in-process and finished goods. Perform thorough inspections of defense industry components, assemblies, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements. Utilize a variety of inspection tools and equipment, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine), to verify dimensions, tolerances, and surface quality. Conduct visual inspections to identify defects, irregularities, and non-conformities, and document findings accurately. Perform functional and performance testing on defense-related products as required. Document inspection and test results, maintaining detailed records and reports to track quality metrics and compliance. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions. Participate in internal and external audits, providing support and documentation as needed. Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to quality control in the defense industry. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education or certification in quality control, quality assurance, or a related field is preferred. Must have three (3) years minimum experience as a quality control inspector in a high mix/low volume defense manufacturing environment and three (3) years minimum experience with quality management systems (QMS) and quality standards such as ISO 9001. Must be able to read drawings, interpret dimensional requirements, measure and make judgement as to whether the parts meet the drawing/CAD requirements or not, plus document findings. In addition, knowledge of which inspection equipment is correct for the task at hand. Attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to identify and document defects and non-conformities effectively. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate inspection results and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to undergo background check and pass physical/drug screening.
