Finance Manager

will support the Director of Finance andDirector of US Operationsand will work closely with other members of the global Operations team and other Finance team members on critical projects.

The post holder will support across a variety of finance work streams including finance administration, payroll, bookkeeping,as well as well as providinggeneral operations support.

Key responsibilities include:

Finance

& Bookkeeping (50%) Manage accounts payable and receivable through QuickBooks online

and ensure compliance with non-profit accounting standards and regulations Handle financial (banking) transactions/payments, including routine bank reconciliation, and administering all bank accounts General bookkeeping tasks including overheads, and Balance Sheet entries Serve as the primary owner of ISD’s payroll system (currently ADP RUN) Maintain payroll system data and perform other administrative management tasks including onboarding/offboarding and keeping an accurate account of employee details including compensation changes Process bi-weekly payroll Maintain 401k platform system data including onboarding/offboarding and serving as the primary POC with our vendor (we use Human Interest) Support our Audit and tax filings including 990 and 1099 ensuring compliance with US GAAP Support with any US government audit. Liase with State and Federal departments and our CPA where necessary Provide any ad hoc management reports and information on payroll and support the global Finance team with maintaining the payroll forecast

Financial Management (25%) Provide support and troubleshooting of our internal staff travel booking platform, TravelPerk Manage office supplies, equipment and maintenance, including ordering supplies, and serve as the point of contact with office building reception staff Manage company cards and support team with expense processes, reconciling credit cards and any other financial administration Provide expense management support to the US senior team Assist with general ad hoc administration requests as needed as assigned by the US Director or the Executive Leadership Team

US Operations (25%) Manage ISD’s physical mail – responsible for checking the US mailbox and managing administration of it’s contents (scanning, virtual filing) and depositing donor checks at our local banking branch Support the Director of Operations in developing and implementing new operations policies and procedures as needed Support the Director of Operations with any ad-hoc administration, projects, or ongoing operational tasks
