As an Escalation Lead (Supplier Operations Escalation Lead) you are responsible for managing inbound supply, being first point of contact regarding internal customers. You will be coordinating escalated material deliveries from suppliers towards the factories and the field aligned to a specific product portfolio supporting a business line.

In this role you will be expected to be the voice of the Wilton factory Material planning for all internal ASML stake holders. Main focus is to secure material availability to the factory and to the field, to resolve shortages and drive material escalations.

In addition you are the operational logistics interface between the Material Planner and the factory. The Supplier Operations Escalation Lead will work with LSM and ASML stakeholders on finding structural solutions to material availability non conformities, train and re-train suppliers on new and updated processes, driving process improvements to improve material availability to the factory.

Finally, you will perform the necessary analysis that will enable you to set up a cockpit allowing you to manage your supply more proactively and exception-based in comparison to the 4 week production window. You will be challenged to turn-the-tables together with the LSM towards suppliers and internal stakeholders (defining what you need from them to be successful, sharing forecasts, performing supply investigations, supporting move rate assessments, …), optimizing part replenishment strategies (decoupling, logistical engineering, SMI, buffer management…), minimizing inventory costs, and maximizing re-use. Ultimately aimed at structurally improving material availability and efficiency (cost).

Roles and responsibilities

Responsible for the operational inbound supply towards the different demand parties for a specific factory portfolio.
The first point of contact for internal customers and for mitigating issues, recommending solutions, and identifying bottlenecks.
Lead Critical Materials Escalations, run CME meetings, and weekly reports to Higher Management.
Lead Supplier Operation for cross-sector efforts ensuring material availability for 2 business lines and updating key stakeholders on a regular basis on the status, progress, and impact of shortages.
Manage and prioritize short-term supply allocation for factory and field and review long-term horizon to resolve potential issues.
Reduce and mitigate shortages impacts across Business Line.
The first point of contact for the factory and the internal demand parties.
Lead for OSC/material planning for cross sector efforts regarding material availability.
Provide critical material availability inputs to business planning for critical path over views. (Go – No Go).

Using your knowledge in logistic management, analytical thinking and professional communication skills, you will be responsible for the following:

Be able to analyze material availability and understand MRP logic and dependencies on other processes/departments within the supply chain. Is able to understand and clarify sources & impact of demand changes throughout the supply chain.
Participate in supplier improvement projects with LSM/QSM and support operational improvement plans with supplier.
Proactive supply management of portfolio of parts (e.g. supply investigations, optimizing replenishment strategies, logistical engineering/expediting, Tiger Teams).

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in logistics/ supply chain management required. Master’s degree a plus.
Must have experience with planning SAP systems.
Has good knowledge of/experience with Logistics processes, Supply chain and flows within scope of department, Planning systems (e.g. MRP/SAP).
Minimum of 3+ years relevant and proven experience in logistics / supply chain management.
Experience in complex work and Ambiguous environment with multiple stakeholders.

Internal: As a direct interface and single point of contact for supplier logistics you work closely together with the Material Planners (MP), Logistics Supplier Manager (LSM), Quality Supplier Managers (QSM), Account Leads (AL), Project Coordinators (PLM), Service Planners (CSCM), Business Planning group, warehousing interfaces and reverse logistics.
External: Operational logistic supplier counterparts, supplier operational management. 3PLs, service providers
