Production Supervisor - 3rd Shift

Duties and Requirements of the Job:

  1. Supervises, coordinates, and reviews the work of all assigned staff.
  2. Meets delivery requirements without compromising Safety, Quality, and Process Standards.
  3. Maintain a clean, safe work environment. Consistently addresses good safety practices with team members. Ensure all tools and equipment are in working order and that they are in place and used in a safe, efficient manner.
  4. Manage employees time and payroll.
  5. Demonstrate a positive mentoring approach and actively participate in various meetings.
  6. Manages day to day departmental operation, assigns people to the appropriate jobs, authorizes overtime and controls cost.
  7. Ensure employees are following TI policies and procedures.
  8. Ensure that direct and indirect labor goals are met daily.
  9. Recommend and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
  10. Analyze and resolve problems or assists team members in solving work problems.
  11. Acts as liaison with other departments.
  12. Responsible for employee training, developing, and evaluating performance.
  13. Communicates and enforces established policies and procedures, issuing progressive discipline as needed.
  14. Hold regular shift meetings with employees.
Skill Requirements:
  1. Regular and predictable attendance.
  2. At least (2) plus years of supervisory experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
  3. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  4. Strong professional and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to interact with co-workers, customers, vendors, and visitors in a respectful and professional manner.
  6. Proven ability to work independently as well as muti-task.
  7. Strong Organization skills.
  8. Proficient computer skills and abilities with Microsoft office products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
