Location Description: Michael Foods, Inc. located in Klingerstown, Pennyslvania known for their ice cream socials at Klingerstown Lutheran Parish, fishing rodeo, and fireman's parade. Responsibilities: POSITION SUMMARY : This position is resp onsible for collecting , re conciling, inputting and interpreting data to ensure accurate reporting of finished good and semi-finished go od production and consumption of materials used . T his person generates reports which provide information as to the pe r formance of the plant , specifically the Precooked Operations, against standard Key Performance Indicators . DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Reconcile daily liquid inventor ies • Con firm production for precooked/liquid processes • Generate various daily, weekly and monthly reports based on collected/ interpreted data related to m aterial shrink , line performance (O verall Equip ment Efficiency), resou rce downtime and loss events • Reconcile cycle co unt inventory adjustment s for ingredients and packaging. • Participa te on SRMP team. • Expected to adhe re to safe work practices, follow GMP and HACCP guidelines, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that produ ct quality is maintai ned in order to maintain SQF Level 3 certification. Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affe ct food safety, food quality or personnel safety. • Performs other duties as assigned Provide administrative assistance to other departments as needed. Qualifications: EDUCATION AND EXPERI E NCE REQUIRED: • High scho ol diploma or general ed ucation degree (GED) or equivalent. • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short corresp ondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in on e-on-one and small gr oup situations . • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, fractions, ratios. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra. • Ability to define problems, collect data, esta blish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Abil ity to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and d eal with several abstract and concrete variables. PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: • Ability to be very detailed orien ted • Math skills • Customer service capabilities • Basic computer skills with ability to input data into the SAP system • Light typi ng skills • Ability to work indoors in normal office setting for duration of shift. • Ability to answer phones and r eceive pertinent in formation The above sta tements are intended to describe the general nature of the work and may not include all of the duties required of the position.
