Production Associate

Overview </b> <br> <br> <strong>Production Associates</strong> <br> <br>Our Snap-on Tool Storage plant located in Algona, Iowa is looking for Production Associates.<br> <br>Wages start at $21.36 per hour with increases every 30 days until you reach $24.83 per hour and annual increases thereafter.<br> <br>This is a three shift facility. Openings are typically on 2nd or 3rd shift with the opportunity to bid into another shift. Shift premium for 2nd shift is $.80/hr and $1.00 for 3rd shift. <br> <br>2nd shift hours are 3:00 pm to Midnight or 1:00 am (Typically work 9-10 hour shifts M-F and overtime on Saturdays as needed)<br> <br>3rd shift hours are 11:00 pm to 7:00 am (Typicaly work 9-10 hour shifts Sun -Th and overtime on Friday as needed)<br> <br> <strong>Overtime is paid after 8 hours/day and on Saturdays </strong> <br> <br>Medical, dental, vision and 401K after one month of service.<br> <br>Newly hired associates are typically assigned to the following positions:<br> <ul> <li>Assembly - assemble and pack tool storage units</li> <li>Welding - form (bend) and spot weld metal components </li> <li>Painter Helper - hang and remove parts from the paint line and material handling of loads to and from line</li></ul> <ul> <li>Be a team player with good attendance</li> <li>Be able to work in a fast pace environment and repetitively handle 5 to 35 lbs. </li> <li>Follow verbal and written work instructions</li> <li>Maintain a safe and clean work environment</li> <li>Previous manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required.</li></ul>Snap-on is located in beautiful Algona, Iowa.
