Production Associate 1st Shift

<b> <b>Basic Job Functions</b></b> <br> <br> <b>The Position:</b> <br> <br>Production Associatesmanufacture, assemble and support the production ofC.H.I. products. This could include the production of doors, door assemblies, or other support components.<br> <br> <b>Related Job Duties:</b> <br> <br> <ul> <li>Reads production paperwork and performs work as assigned by the department supervisor.</li> <li>Assembles the materials to produce garage doors and/or assemblies.</li> <li>Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages and include correct shipping documents.</li> <li>Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes.</li> <li>Notify the supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.</li> <li>Place finished goods in the proper area and/or trailer for shipment.</li> <li>Maintain a clean and safe work area.</li> <li>Maintain production standards without compromising quality.</li> <li>Other reasonably related duties as assigned.</li></ul> <br>Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.<br> <br> <b> <b>Minimum Qualifications:</b></b> <br> <br> <ul> <li>Minimum of 1-yearof previous general labor and/or customer service experience.</li></ul> <br> <b> <b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></b> <br> <br> <ul> <li>2 years of previous experience in manufacturing,operating heavy machines, punch tooling, and hand tools, and have mechanical aptitude.</li></ul> <br> <b>Benefits</b> <br> <br>C.H.I.
