Job Title: Product Engineer

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: On-site in Pleasant Prairie, WI

Position Overview:

The Product Engineer is responsible for supporting our sales team with technical issues for Interspiro Inc. products.  This engineer will also be a liaison with the engineering headquarters in Täby, Sweden.  This will include also being involved with product audits for NIOSH and NFPA compliance as well as being involved with the technical committees for applicable product standards.

Responsibilities:

• Support the North American market with product development.
• Support the North American market with product quality improvements.
• Communicate product development with the sales team in North America.
• Follow the required standards (i.e. NIOSH & NFPA) that Interspiro product needs to meet for the North and South American markets
• Represent Interspiro on the technical committees for relevant standards.
• Communicate product needs with the engineering department in Sweden.
• Support the service department

Shall Develop and Maintain :

• Product technical support
• The professional and technical knowledge. Some activities for attaining this could be attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies etc.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Applied Sciences, Engineering or related field required.
• 1 plus year of experience in product support within a manufacturing or engineering environment is preferred.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Well-organized with effective planning abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP/MRP systems.
• Familiarity with SolidWorks or CAD design.
