Scheduled Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, nights, weekends as needed.

Primary Objective :

Review customer order requirements and manufacturing capabilities to develop robust and cost-effective routings. Makes sure that customer order requirements are met at all stages of manufacturing.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Sales Support
  1. Review specifications and requirements on customer’s request for quotes to determine if the process and production are acceptable.
  2. Assign a routing based on the customer purchase order requirements.
  3. Review inventory material against customer requirements.
  • Systems Support
  1. Develop routings for new items, primarily in the Bridgeville & North Jackson facilities
  2. Update specifications and test requirements in the Order Fulfillment System.
  3. Update and correct routings as needed.
  • QA/QC functions
  1. Develop QC test plans for orders.
  2. Review test results for acceptability to customer requirements.
  3. Release orders for shipment.

Education and Experience:

  • BS degree in Metallurgical / Material Science Engineering.
  • 1-3 years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong computer and data analysis skills.
  • Ability to communicate well with both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Problem-solving and continuous improvement skills (Lean, Six Sigma, 8D, etc.)

Physical Demands:

  • Speaking, hearing, near and far eyesight.
  • Ability to safely move around and work in both an office and a manufacturing environment.
