How You'll Make an Impact: As a portable radiologic technologist, you'll perform mobile diagnostic imaging procedures in various settings to support the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injuries. You'll also play a role in maintaining patient care, customer service, and image quality, as well as training other X-ray Technologists.

What You'll Do:

  • Travel to perform portable x-rays and EKG exams in settings such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and patient residences.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures while performing diagnostic imaging exams.
  • Collect and verify all required order documentation and patient information prior to procedures.
  • Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams.
  • Operate portable radiologic equipment and determine exposure factors based on patient demographics.
  • Demonstrate safe work practices including radiation safety and infection control, and ensure the vehicle is well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Transmit images and maintain records of work performed according to standard protocols.
  • Assist with equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and problem-solving as directed by Company management.
  • Act professionally and exhibit courtesy when interacting with co-workers, patients, and healthcare professionals.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and guidelines, and communicate positively and professionally with everyone.

What You Need:

  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist RT (R), or Limited Scope X-ray Operator in accordance with State-specific requirements.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license and good driving record.
  • Ability to lift equipment up to 50 pounds and work a varied schedule.
