Position Summary:

You'll design, implement, and optimize plastic material processing, with a focus on injection molding and structural foam production. This hands-on role supports new program launches and ensures efficient, high-quality production. You'll also lead continuous process improvements and provide technical support to the production floor.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Manage daily plastic/resin production processes for injection molding and structural foam.
  • Optimize processes to meet quality, cost, and efficiency goals.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues on the production floor.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process development and tooling designs.
  • Train technicians on efficient machine operations and process improvements.

Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Plastics or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of plastic process engineering experience.
  • Expertise in plastic injection molding; structural foam experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of molding processes, equipment, and tooling.
  • Excellent project management and process improvement skills.
