Pipe Inspector NDT: Magnetic Particle, Ultrasonic, Prove Up

Sign-On bonus to be paid in 2 equal payments, half paid at 1 month of service and other half paid at 6 months of service

*NDT Operators*

Purpose:

Performs NDT Test on pipes deciding their approval or rejection, in a safe and efficient manner according to applicable procedures, complying with defined quality standards.

Main Activities:

- Executes change over and set up of the machine.
- Ensures instruments are in good condition checking their expiration date and correct functioning.
- Executes calibration of the machine.
- Verifies Standard Pipe.
- Executes static and if applicable dynamic verification.
- Performs machine operation.
- Performs Ultrasonic Test on pipes.
- Supervises Prove Up.
- Carries out or controls defect identification and marking.
- Makes the decision of approving or rejecting pipes in accordance to quality requirements.
- Checks specifications on manufacturing orders.
- Performs quality reports of pipes notifying the defects found.
- Assists machine lock outs and tag outs and does operative maintenance (coupling fluid, probes adjustments, etc.).
- Updates information in the tracking systems and records the obtained results.
