He/she must comply with all company procedures and develop and maintain customer relationships.Essential Duties & Responsibilities Complete Emission Reports legibly, detailed according to Kodiak Policies and Procedures, and submitted to Emissions Administrator in a timely mannerComplete service report once an O2 sensor, part has been changed, and/or Quarterly Emissions Test has been completedComplete Expense Reports legibly, detailed and timely per guidelines set by KodiakEnsure all assigned units are emission tested each quarter or inspected to determine the need for further maintenance requirements to achieve a passing testEnsure all required data collection is correct and completeResponsible for ensuring emission controls are installed and operating correctlyPerform/schedule an ICT (Initial Compliance Test) on unit start upPre-test prior to state mandated testBe on location for every state test performedOnce per quarter each unit is tested for 15 minutes or as dictated otherwiseTune engines within permit limitsChanges 02 sensors on rich burn enginesReplace, clean and service catalyst on engines with 400HP or less. Get assistance as needed for larger engines.Relay to Operations when engine has mechanical problems resulting in a no-pass test with recommendationsFollow-up tests when out of complianceOne day per week spent on preparing/submitting reportsOnce per month servicing truckWeekly Communication with supervisor on any compliance issues, an update of weekly scheduleMaintaining Testo Analyzer and calibration gasesMaintain communications with operations and customersAssurance of proper permit limits for equipment based on location, area, state and federal guidelinesAttend all company safety and training programs as required.Attend required tailgate safety meetings.Assist in review and upgrade of company safety policies and procedures.Understand and follow all Kodiak and customer safety policies and procedures.Report all safety hazards and incidents to Supervisor or ManagerEducation, Experience, & Training4 or more years' experience in natural gas compression or related fieldOEM, trade school, or comparable work experience in a related field/industryDay-to-day completion of job responsibilities with minimal supervisionStrong mechanical intuition or abilityComprehension of OEM and miscellaneous technical manuals and literatureOperation of commercial vehicles and cranesStrong mechanical aptitude/mechanically inclined.Communication and customer service skillsHigh level of organizational skillsMicrosoft Office suite (excel, word, outlook)Positive attitude and high level of energyHigh School Diploma or equivalentPhysical DemandsOvertime, extended or non-traditional working hours may be requiredMust be able to stand or walk on uneven terrain, climb personnel stairs and ladders, stoop, squat and/or crawl depending on the directed taskExposure to extreme temperatures, weather conditions and environments on a location-by-location basisHigh noise environment (>85 dbA) will occur with ear protectionPotential controlled, exposure to hazardous chemicalsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Standing, kneeling, bending, squatting, twisting for long periods of timeClimb ladders up to 25 feetAbility to use common hand tools related to job needsKodiak Gas Services is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer: All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status.
