This is a role within Systems' Manufacturing and Production group. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Perform facility and building maintenance including: plumbing, mechanical, facility painting, landscaping, scheduled maintenance, emergency repairs, and preventive and predictive facility maintenance, and (ii) Learn to perform scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment such as welding robots, fabrication equipment, hoists, lift tables, cranes, paint booths, etc.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform facility and building maintenance including: plumbing, mechanical, facility painting, landscaping, scheduled maintenance, emergency repairs, and preventive and predictive facility maintenance

  • Learn to perform scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment such as welding robots, fabrication equipment, hoists, lift tables, cranes, paint booths, etc

  • Follows lock-out and tag-out procedures as needed to ensure safe work practices

  • Assists with dismantling of machinery and replace defective parts

  • Logs all service work performed, recording downtime during repair and accounting for equipment service requests

  • Perform Lean and 5S functions related to maintenance

  • Drive a forklift and maintain necessary certification

  • Operate cranes, hoists, and aerial lifts

  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.

  • Protect Chamberlain Group's and Systems' reputation by keeping information confidential.

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • No minimum education required

  • 1+ years of related experience or an associates degree in Industrial Maintenance

  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulations

  • Associates degree in Industrial Maintenance preferred

  • Working knowledge of manufacturing machines, cranes, hoists, forklifts, and other manufacturing equipment

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds

  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit up

  • Ability to use hand to finger, handle, and feel

  • Ability to climb and balance

  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawl

  • Ability to reach with hands and arms

  • Ability to see, talk, and hear
