*Responsibilities:*

• Provide professional pharmaceutical care to patients to ensure positive drug therapy outcomes.

• Responsible for the intake of prescription orders and the efficient fulfillment and accuracy of orders.

• Implement and maintain drug utilization management concepts and activities.

• Supervise professional staff relevant to proper dispensing techniques and checks of medications dispensed

• Assist employees in performing all technical/clinical department activities.

• Motivate and challenge staff to complete jobs consistently with accuracy and speed.

• Conduct staff education on Non-Sterile compounding guidelines of state, federal, and accrediting agencies

• Assure regulatory compliance to all pharmacy rules and regulations

*Qualifications and Requirements:*

• Must be licensed as a pharmacist in the state.

• Prefer two (2) years’ experience in a pharmacy setting.

• Exhibit proficient computer skills.

• A valid Texas driver’s license

• Ability to read and write record information as directed.

• Prefer computer knowledge in Microsoft Office Products.
