Job Purpose

The Sr Project Manager, Infrastructure is an integral part of the Kraft Heinz Engineering Center of Excellence, responsible for the identification, planning, design, and successful execution/rehabilitation of critical infrastructure within multiple factories across their respective Business Unit (BU). This individual will leverage a strong civil engineering, infrastructure, maintenance, and/or facilities management background to generate Site Master Plans to define critical infrastructure investment strategy for the short and long term.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage infrastructure projects from conception through completion, including upgrades, expansions, and new installations.
  • To ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and adherence to project scope.
  • Completes specific phases or aspects of the project such as technical studies, detailed design, preparation of specifications and technical plans, etc.
  • Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and implementation issues.
  • Controls expenditures within limitations of project budget.
  • Develop and deliver effective tracking, reporting, and communication to provide business unit and leadership meaningful key progress results and status updates.
  • Provide input and guidance on the project structure, resource needs and associated skills to successfully execute the project securing external resources when appropriate to deliver investments per the agreed timing and scope.
  • Establish or participate in the creation of technical standards, specification, procedures and guidelines for application on related Capital Projects.
  • Provide functional and technical support to the factories to implement successful rehabilitation programs.
  • Work alongside key stakeholders to generate Site Master Plans to dictate the investment strategy for critical infrastructure across the short-, medium-, and long-term horizons.

Expected Experience & Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in infrastructure management within a manufacturing environment
  • Advanced knowledge of construction best practices
  • Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods and team building.
  • Strong background in civil engineering, infrastructure, maintenance, and/or facility management
  • Strong analytical and management skills, including conflict & change management.
  • Experience reading and understanding construction drawings (Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Plumbing, Structural, Fire) and construction specifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to direct/lead/manage cross functional teams on large capital project/programs of $10MM or more.

Work Environment & Schedule

This position is considered a Normal office environment with moderate travel to customer locations, stores, manufacturing facilities, etc.; offices are open workspaces Additionally, this role requires normal working hours. Up to 40% travel required across North America.

Target total cash is contingent on targeted company performance achievement and individual attainment of performance goals. Therefore, target total cash is not guaranteed earnings. In addition to base salary and bonus, this role is eligible for additional compensation in the form of equity. The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
