This is a weekend Per Diem position and will be at least two weekend days per month with the opportunity to pick up weekday shifts. The selected candidate will work caring for patients in both acute care al and on the acute Rehab Unit located at Wilmington Hospital. At Wilmington Hospital, care of patients is in the acute rehab unit located at Wilmington Hospital. In this setting, patients are seen primarily in our well-equipped, state of the art therapy gym, and our Transitional Living Apartment with access to a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and living room/bedroom set up. This exciting position allows the selected candidate to see a large variety of patient populations including Neuro, Trauma, Cardiac, and General Debility while working with a supportive team of OTs. The OT experience at ChristianaCare offers a strong team approach and frequent interdisciplinary interaction. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS : •Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program •Minimum of a BS or MS in Occupational Therapy •At least one year of clinical experience •Licensure or license eligibility in the State of Delaware as an Occupational Therapist •CPR Certification •AOTA preferred ChristianaCare Job ID JR74702.
