University of Washington: Academic Personnel: School of Medicine: Pediatrics: Pediatrics, Dermatology Location Seattle, WA Open Date Description The Division of Dermatology, Department of Pediatrics, at the University of Washington is recruiting a full time Assistant, Associate or Full Professor without tenure (WOT) by reason of funding (commensurate with experience and qualifications) on the clinician-scholar track. Assistant Professors are eligible for multi-year appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. Associate and Full Professors hold indefinite appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. Responsibilities will include providing in-patient and outpatient consulting practice, as well as clinical, translational and basic science research opportunities. This position provides an opportunity to work at the Clinical & Translational Research Center (CTR) at Seattle Children's Research Institute. All University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research, and service. Anticipated start date is Winter 2024 The base salary range for this position will be: Assistant Professors $23,640-$35,460 per month ($283,680-$425,520 annually), Associate Professors $26,447- $39,670 ($317,364- $476,040), Full Professors $27,859- $41,792 ($334,308 – $501,504) commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. This range is inclusive of base salary provided through the Children’s University Medical Group (CUMG) practice plan, in addition to base salary provided by the University. Please note that only compensation provided by the University is included in University benefit determinations and calculations. Compensation provided by Children’s University Medical Group (CUMG) practice plan may provide eligibility for separate benefits offered by that organization. Other compensation associated with this position may include incentive through Children’s University Medical Group practice plan. Additional administrative responsibilities may be offered to a specific candidate with appropriate experience and qualifications which may result in an administrative supplement (ADS). Qualifications Must have MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent). Must be Board certified or eligible (or foreign equivalent) in Pediatric Dermatology and must be eligible for medical licensure in state of Washington. In order to be eligible for university sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-US) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the US Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
