<b>Location: </b> Lansdale, PA<br> <b>Description: </b> <br>Job Title: Designer III<br> <br>Location: Lansdale, PA, USA<br> <br>Overview: This position offers a temporary contract role with the potential to transition to full-time employment. As a Designer III, you'll play a crucial role in creating practical printed circuit board (PCB) design solutions. If you specialize in ECAD (Electronic Computer-Aided Design) and have experience with RF, Digital, or Mixed Technology PCBs, we encourage you to apply.<br> <br>Responsibilities:<br> <ul> <li>Collaborate with Electrical Engineers to design printed circuit boards.</li> <li>Import schematics, create library parts, and handle layout and routing of circuit boards.</li> <li>Demonstrate expertise in ECAD applications, focusing on RF PCB design using specialized software.</li> <li>Synthesize schematic data, parts lists, engineering concepts, and customer requirements to plan design layouts.</li> <li>Document engineering decisions through design layouts, providing a foundation for detailed drawings.</li> <li>Work with ECR/ECO (Engineering Change Request/Engineering Change Order) processes, generate Bills of Material, and utilize our data management tool (PLM).</li></ul>Qualifications: Minimum:<br> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or Accredited GED.</li> <li>At least 2 years of relevant experience as a Designer.</li> <li>Eligibility as a "US Person" under US export laws (or approval under a U.S. Government export license) due to access to controlled technology, materials, software, or hardware.</li> <li>Ability to obtain security clearance.</li></ul>Preferred:<br> <ul> <li>Associate's Degree in a technical field.</li> <li>4 years of experience as a Designer.</li> <li>Familiarity with IPC specifications for PCB design and manufacturability (specifically IPC-2221).</li> <li>Knowledge of ASME Y-14 Drawing and Dimensioning Standards, including ASME Y 14.100 Engineering Drawing practices and ASME Y-14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).</li> <li>Proficiency in Altium and AutoCAD.</li> <li>Strong creative thinking skills, understanding of basic engineering principles, and familiarity with design practices and manufacturing methods/procedures.</li> <li>Experience working in the defense industry.</li> <li>Active DOD clearance.</li></ul> <ul> </ul> <b>Contact:</b> dwalsh@judge.com<br> <br>This job and many more are available through The Judge Group.
