Summary: Payroll Coordinator will play an integral role in the success of the department. Specifically, they will be responsible for payroll functions for all the company’s employees. Payroll coordinator requires sharp attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to process data quickly. Strong financial understanding and excellent verbal communication abilities to manage employee’s paychecks accurately each week.

Process Payroll Transactions: Handle timesheets, update payroll records, and ensure all relevant paperwork is in order.
Verify Data: Collect and verify employee and timekeeping data.
Compute Wages: Calculate wages, deductions, commissions, and benefits.
Issue Payments: Oversee electronic payments and distribution of payroll checks.
Update Records: Maintain employee records and payroll transactions, including updates for promotions, and transfers.
Handle Inquiries: Answer employee questions and resolve issues regarding payroll.
Ensure Compliance: Follow company policies, industry regulations, tax, and deduction laws.
Prepare Reports: Produce payroll reports for management and auditing purposes.

Qualifications/Requirements: Associates degree in accounting or related field and/or two years of payroll experience.

2 or more years of payroll experience
