Patient Safety Observer - Weekends at Solid Ground Security

Solid Ground Security in Maryville, TN is looking for multiple patient safety observers to join our 19 person strong team. We are located on 576 Foothills Plaza Drive #138. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and reliable.

• JOB SUMMARY
• The Patient Sitter performs fundamental patient services under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. Their primary focus is on providing 1:1 observation of behavioral patients as well as patients at risk for falls and other harm to themselves.
• Must be 18 years or older and pass a background check and drug screening.
• JOB SPECIFICATIONS
• Education and/or experience:  High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Current certification in BLS and First Aid training or completion within first three months of hire. Must be able to complete competency learning modules and performance modules related to safe patient observation during initial orientation.
• Knowledge:  Basic computer knowledge.
• Skills/Abilities:  Excellent Customer service, active listening and clear communication, both written and verbal. Must be able to maintain focus on patient observation despite distractions.
