JOB SUMMARY
Provides primary care to patients following established standards and practices in collaboration with physician in the clinic.
JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS
Saint Francis Clinic - Poplar Bluff is hiring additional Advanced Practice Providers to join the clinic's Urgent Care!
Position Details:
  • Urgent Care hours are M-F 8am - 7pm, and Sat/Sun 8am - 5pm
  • Shift-based
  • Weekend only option available!
  • On-site Imaging, Laboratory, and Pharmacy
  • Imaging capabilities include: 3-D Mammography, 3-D Biopsy, Computer Tomography (CT), Digital Mammography, Magnetic Resonance (MRI), Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, General Radiology, X-Ray, Bone Densitometry
  • EMR: EPIC

Education:
- Graduate from accredited school of Nursing or Physician Assistants and successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner Program or Physician Assistant Program
Certification & Licensures:
- Current license as a Registered Nurse and an Advanced Practice Nurse by the State of Missouri, or current license as a Physician Assistant by the State of Missouri
- BLS Certification
Experience:
- Three years' experience as a family nurse practitioner preferred
- Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to maintain a safe working environment
- Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, physicians, staff and the public
- Ability to maintain quality control standards and maintain calm and effective reactions during emergency situations
- Ability to communicate clearly, as well as understanding and responding to detailed oral and written instructions
- Ability to learn and efficiency utilize diagnostic equipment, electronic systems for ordering, medical records and other common computer programs
