Part time 12 hour/ week 4pm-8pm shift Thursday, Friday and Every Other Saturday and Sunday
Weekend Per Diem needed for all shifts: 8am-4pm and 4pm-8pm

Requirements
Receptionists are the primary source of information for a busy community of residents, staff, guests. As the face of Whitney Center, they are relied upon to consistently represent the organization with a confident and positive attitude.
  • Must have an adaptable working style.
  • Must be a responsible person who is able to make independent decisions in keeping with the culture of the community and the policies of the organization.
  • Must be able to develop a thorough understanding of the schedule of day-to-day operations, the layout of the building, and the workflow among departments.
  • Must be able to learn residents and staff by name and be able to develop positive and effective working relationships with them.
  • Must be able to speak and write in a polite and professional manner and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Must be able to manage the competing priorities of a busy community and handle difficult situations with poise.
  • Must be able to handle multiple modes of communication-including a multi-line phone system and email-while managing in-person interactions at the desk.
  • Must be prepared to take on additional administrative tasks when needed.
  • Must be able to successfully learn and become proficient in new software programs and apps.
  • Must be able to learn and use various forms, logs, calendars, filing systems, office equipment, etc. necessary for maintaining organization and coordinating Whitney Center transportation reservations

Education :
High School Diploma
Associates degree or higher preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required.
The ideal candidate will have substantial employment history in a professional setting
Condition of Employment:
Candidate must successfully complete Pre-Employment Medical Clearance consisting of a Physical, PPD, Drug Test.
