Job Description
- Skilled in implementing applied behavioral analysis (ABA) with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or related disorders
- Ability to administer and interpret a variety of clinical assessments
- Excellent clinical competence and judgment
- Commitment to handling confidential information responsibly
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, organizational and project management skills while working in a fast-paced environment
- Design, implement, and monitor skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction programs
- Conducting parent training
- Creating programming and behavior intervention plans
- Monitoring data for students
- Conducting appropriate assessments
- Collect program and behavior data which can include but are not limited to aggression, SIB, property destruction, elopement, stereotypy
- Implement research-based interventions to decrease interfering behaviors and teach replacement skills
- Prepare and organize teaching materials and teaching settings prior to each session
- Work collaboratively with ABA therapists and related service providers to implement learner-specific strategies and protocols
- Masters Degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis
- Valid BCBA Certification
- Valid NJ drivers license.
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Maintain Professional Liability Insurance
- Valid Crisis Management certification
- Must have a compatible device (iPad, Laptop etc) to use for electronic notes
