Job Description
The Inventory Control Manifestor will manage inventory control distribution processes for the processing plant, including packaging and ingredients. Operates all tray former machines and forklifts as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : This list is not intended to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
  • Receive all materials required for business, into the Infor M3 system using the necessary tools to ensure proper traceability is maintained.

  • Ensure all inventory control policies, practices and procedures are met controlled daily.
  • Monitor the inventory control system to ensure all receiving 7 issuance of materials is correctly performed.
  • Effectively communicate control inventory levels that uses a just-in-time purchase delivery process.
  • Provide written verbal reports on all opportunities that occur in your area of responsibility to include actions being taken to correct, and recommended action plans with a timetable for achieving.
  • Interface with all departments to maintain positive relations, including routinely seeking feedback regarding effectiveness of the service provided.
  • Develop a collaborative relationship with everyone to maintain a good rapport for successfully accomplishing your job.
  • Successfully show the ability to operate all tray former machines.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and utilize proper personal equipment where/when required.
  • May be assigned other tasks by supervisor if business dictates.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE : A self-motivated individual that can prioritize and complete critical assignments in a timely manner.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS : Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general technical procedures, and/or governmental regulations. Ability to write effective reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management and employees. Must have the ability to influence and persuade others.
LANGUAGE SKILLS : Ability to read and interpret documents in the English language such as safety files, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Must be able to effectively communicate with the production and management personnel. Ability to comprehend and follow simple instructions. Ability to work in a diverse workforce, maintain effective working relationships with peers and management and follow work instruction.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS : Ability to apply mathematical applications to practical situations. Demonstrated ability to understand basic mathematical equations.
REASONING ABILITY : Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in diagram, written and/or verbal form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES : Ability to use computers, handheld scanners, and all standard programs used by the industry and the ability to learn and effectively use all other computer programs that are or will be made available.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS : While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to move about the facility. The employee is required to sit; use hands to finger; handle; or feel/hold objects; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; speak; hear taste and smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move 50 lbs. from 96 inches to 55 inches; occasional climb 12 inches; constant overhead reach to height of 96 inches (may use 12 inch step); constant forward reach of 17 inches at 55 inch height; constant hand coordination; constant foot coordination; constant standing; constant walking. PDC Level: HEAVY based on frequency of lifts.
