As a federally qualified health center and certified patient-centered medical home, we accept patients with no insurance, Medicare, Medicaid and most commercial insurance plans. Position Overview: The

Pediatric Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC)

is responsible for patient care and a variety of clinical tasks using the Primary Care Behavioral Health (PCBH) model. By using the Primary Care Behavioral Health (PCBH) model, the Pediatric BHC collaborates with primary health care providers and integrates best practices related to behavioral interventions and strategies. The Pediatric BHC will provide skill training through psycho-education, patient education strategies and develop a behavioral treatment plan for patients. Key Responsibilities: Providing counseling, therapy, education and treatment plans to patients, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, and complex trauma in brief consultative sessions based on PCBH model; Assisting and consulting with primary health care providers in assessing behavioral health concerns, psychosocial problems, evaluation of care plans, and referrals; Strategizing and coordinating care with patients, families, and providers to address behavioral health issues and maximize wellness; Assisting in coordination of care with outside agencies as needed; Balancing clinical work, timely documentation in EMR, and other administrative responsibilities; What we're looking for in a candidate:

A current Georgia Licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Clinical Psychologist; Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or Clinical Psychology; Eager and able to embody the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of CCH; Able and willing to demonstrate love, compassion, and genuine care when interacting with others; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to relate to children; Strong decision-making, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills; Good organizational, leadership, and teamworking skills; A caring and compassionate nature when working with children and their families; What Christ Community has to offer:
