Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision tests to determine patient needs.
  • Diagnose and treat ocular diseases and injuries.
  • Prescribe corrective lenses and provide guidance on visual health.
  • Manage pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries.
  • Educate patients on proper eye care and maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and follow up with care as necessary.
  • Collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in optometry and incorporate them into practice.
  • Engage with the community to promote eye health and wellness.
Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school.
  • Valid state optometry license or the ability to obtain one prior to starting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
  • Willingness to relocate to Northern Minnesota.
