Optician

Winter Park Optical is seeking a full time experienced dispensing optician for our busy mountain practice. Knowledge in frame and lens selection, dispensing, adjusting and frame repair. Lab experience and lensometry are beneficial as we do most cutting and edging in house. We are an Optician owned private pay practice and don't bill insurance. We employee 2 very experienced optometrists that work for me and we are the only eye care providers in Grand county Colorado. Other skills I am looking for are knowledge of quickbooks, answering phones, scheduling patients, inventory management and contact lens dispensing. if you speak spanish and translate spanish a huge bonus! As a small community optical we are held to a very high standard where honesty, integrity and compassion are a must! Housing in the area is tricky, but I have a 1 bedroom apartment in downtown Winter Park that can be stayed in 3 or 4 nights if someone wants to come up from the Denver area but not actually move here. It's a short bike ride to the office but also on the bus route. I may also have access to a condo with covered parking if you are interested in moving to Winter Park.
