RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accounting/Finance

  • Planning, directing and coordinating all accounting operational functions.
  • Managing monthly-close and reparation of monthly financial reports with analysis.
  • Preparing financial documents such as inventory reports, financial reports, financial forecasts and statements to understand the financial state of business.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of accounting software, internal control process and supporting database, as needed.
  • Overseeing regulatory reporting, frequently including tax planning and compliance
  • Preparing and evaluating budget proposals and funding request
  • Identifying and researching variances to forecast, budget and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Managing audits with outside auditors and regulatory agency examiners.
  • Coordinating with affiliates and outside advisors for maintaining intercompany agreements database covering ongoing operations as well as ensuring that intercompany entries are properly booked and documented.

Human Resources

  • Managing the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding
  • Managing and processing payroll.
  • Assisting in benefits and open enrollment.

General Affairs

  • Managing commercial, liability and workers comp insurance renewal and audit.
  • Overseeing and backup for routine maintenance on facilities and making repairs as needed.
  • Coordinating IT requests and reviewing IT services and service licenses.
  • Any business administration related ad hoc tasks

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's (Preferred) in Accounting Business, Finance; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in related role

  • Computer skills: proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Bilingual in English & Chinese

  • Ability to learn new computer systems independently through self-study and practice and teach others

  • Experience in wholesaler and e-commerce business is a plus
